NewDesign System Tech Lead
Payoneer is hiring a Design System Tech Lead on the Application Foundations (Frontend Platform) team. The role is based in Israel with a hybrid work arrangement and is full-time. - Lead the modernization and technical direction of the Design System.
- Own component architecture, design tokens, theming, accessibility, and performance.
- Improve developer and designer adoption by reducing friction, improving documentation, and simplifying upgrades.
- Make the Design System machine-readable and tool-friendly, enabling automation and AI-assisted development.
- Define quality standards, testing strategy, and governance for Design System changes.
- Work closely with product design, frontend teams, platform, and DevOps partners.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to frontend platform best practices.
