NewDesign Systems and Template Designer
Apply on HavenleisureltdTemplate & Brand Systems Designer role based in Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office) for Haven. The role is to build a scalable, self-serve template and brand systems ecosystem so the whole Haven team can create on‑brand assets independently, designing and building templates in Canva Enterprise, Smartly and similar tools. What you'll do
- Design and build Haven's template ecosystem, creating reusable, brand-locked templates across Canva Enterprise, Smartly and beyond for menus, POS, signage, email, social and self-serve formats.
- Define locked versus editable elements (colours, CTAs, pricing, imagery), set permissions, versioning and user roles to keep the system on-brand by design.
- Build logic, automation and training to enable category managers and park teams to create assets within brand boundaries; produce guidance and documentation for users.
- Manage integrations between Canva Enterprise, Bynder DAM and Smartly, working with the Production Automation Manager to build data-fed templates and automated workflows.
- Establish QA standards, track template usage, refresh or retire templates based on usage, and partner with the Brand team to translate guidelines into machine-enforceable rules.
