What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve UI components and primitives for Dropbox’s design system
  • Design and build AI-powered tooling and agent-driven workflows for design-to-code processes and developer productivity
  • Partner with designers to translate design intent into reusable code and shape how AI can assist or automate the workflow
  • Contribute to the architecture and strategy of AI-native UX development, including LLMs, agents, and automation in internal tooling
  • Prototype and productionize concepts related to the future of design systems
  • Embed WCAG standards and accessibility best practices into components and AI-assisted workflows
  • Write scalable documentation for human and AI consumers
  • Collaborate in code reviews, design critiques, and technical discussions

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development, including experience contributing to or maintaining a design system or shared UI platform

  • Experience building scalable, maintainable front-end architecture for complex applications
  • Hands-on experience integrating or building with AI/ML-powered tools such as LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or automation pipelines in a development workflow
  • Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG and ARIA and how to implement them in reusable systems
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners across design, product, and engineering
