The company is hiring a product designer to lead the next generation of its design system, defining visual and interaction foundations, components, patterns, and reusable interaction patterns for AI-native products. The role involves partnering with a Design Systems Engineer to pioneer AI-assisted design-system workflows and extend the system through complex product problems. This is an onsite role based in the San Francisco office, five days a week (Monday–Friday).

Software Engineer, Design Systems

Assembled provides a unified platform for coordinating customer support operations across in-house agents, BPOs, and AI. The role is for a Software Engineer focused on leading the technical vision for a new design system and AI-native design-to-code workflows. The engineer will work closely with a Design Systems Designer and make decisions affecting component APIs, token architecture, performance, accessibility, developer experience, and AI-generated production UI.
