Workwize is hiring a Design System Engineer Intern in Amsterdam for a six-month, 40-hours-per-week hybrid internship. The intern will help build and maintain reusable UI components using Shadcn and collaborate with a coach, the design team, and engineers on consistency, accessibility, and scalability across product interfaces. Workwize provides an automated SaaS platform for IT teams to deploy, manage, and retrieve hardware for remote and global teams in 100+ countries.

What you'll do

  • Build and document Shadcn-based components
  • Create and maintain a Storybook for component documentation
  • Collaborate with a coach, designers, and engineers on reusable component design
  • Support engineering teams by managing shared component work
  • Ensure accessibility and responsiveness across all components
  • Contribute to internal documentation and developer guidelines
