WHOOP is hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design of AI-first member experiences that translate complex data and intelligent systems into intuitive, trustworthy, and actionable interfaces. The role involves working closely with cross-functional partners to bring human-centered experiences to life and ensuring WHOOP remains at the forefront of innovation in health and performance. This position is based in the WHOOP office in Boston, MA and the successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of that office.

What you'll do

  • Lead design projects from research and problem framing through to UX flows, prototypes, and polished experiences
  • Translate complex AI-driven insights into clear, approachable, and trustworthy interfaces
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to uncover member needs and validate design decisions
  • Create information architectures, workflows, and interaction patterns
  • Prototype in Figma at high proficiency and leverage no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Cursor, Lovable, Replit) to explore real interactions
  • Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and data scientists to define opportunities and deliver production-ready solutions
  • Actively use AI in the design workflow for ideation, prototyping, content generation, and synthesis
  • Advocate for inclusive, ethical, and transparent AI design, ensuring accessibility and fairness

  • 5+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped work
  • Proven experience designing consumer-facing digital products, particularly mobile experiences
  • Deep expertise in UX, interaction design, and product thinking with the ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear solutions
  • High proficiency in design tools such as Figma, with strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and workflow design
  • Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and a high bar for craft and polish
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven products and understanding of UX challenges such as trust, explainability, and transparency
  • Experience designing for emerging technologies (e.g., AI-first products, wearables, voice interfaces) is a plus
