NewSenior Product Manager, Design Systems
Apply on VantaVanta is hiring a Senior Product Manager, Design Systems to own the product strategy and roadmap for how every team builds Vanta's interface. The role sits in the Platform organization and is the company's first dedicated Design Systems PM position, focused on building horizontal tooling so product, engineering, and design teams can create consistent user experiences. The role is high-autonomy, highly cross-functional, and works closely with engineering and design manager partners.

- Own the vision and roadmap for the frontend, spanning the design system and the front-end platform, and align platform investments to company initiatives
- Evolve the design system from a broad component library into smaller, composable building blocks with consistent APIs, including making components first-class for AI and LLM-driven experiences
- Drive accessibility and internationalization programs to their committed milestones, including global-scale localization and meeting accessibility standards
- Partner with the AI team to enable agentic patterns product teams need to build next-generation Vanta experiences
- Run go-to-market and adoption for design-system changes, and lead ongoing quality and "paper cuts" triage as the craft team for the entire product
- Partner closely with engineering and design leads as a triad, continuously prioritizing the highest-impact work
- Plan 12 to 18 months ahead for how the design system and front-end platform will scale, including AI-native use

- 4-8+ years of product management experience, with real ownership of a design system, frontend platform, or developer and design experience that served many teams
- Demonstrated craft and taste at scale and credibility with senior design and product leaders
- Builder's mindset: hands-on ability to spin up prototypes and demos using component building blocks
- Ability to collaborate horizontally and build consensus across product teams
- Ability to think in systems about how components, tokens, patterns, and front-end infrastructure fit together
- Ability to translate front-end and design-system investment into clear business value for leadership and partners
- Open to using AI to amplify skills and apply AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship
