- Own, build, and maintain the common component library
- Design reusable, accessible, well-documented components and implement them in production front-end code
- Establish, uphold, and evolve design patterns across products and surfaces
- Anticipate new patterns, refactor and extend components, and prevent drift and one-off implementations
- Translate high-fidelity designs into performant, reusable UI
- Feed implementation constraints back into the design process
- Build prototypes and reference implementations for new patterns
- Partner with product designers, PMs, and engineers on vision, technical feasibility, and quality
