What you'll do

  • Bridge UX, Frontend, and Backend teams to drive architecture and design discussions
  • Establish technical solutions and API designs using REST or GraphQL
  • Lead end-to-end frontend implementation of enterprise-scale business applications deployed on AWS
  • Mentor and guide junior frontend engineers
  • Own the user experience for complex data tools used by data scientists and researchers
  • Maintain and expand the internal R-Design System component library
  • Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment to map user journeys and interface requirements
  • Build scalable, responsive, interactive frontends using Vue.js and Tailwind CSS

  • Deep proven expertise in Vue.js
  • Strong practical experience with D3.js
  • Experience optimizing browser performance for rendering massive datasets
  • Nice-to-have: background or strong domain knowledge in Sequencing, PCR, Bioinformatics, or digital healthcare
  • Nice-to-have: experience in large, globally distributed enterprise environments such as Pharma or MedTech
  • Nice-to-have: command of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS
  • Nice-to-have: experience driving technical decisions in Agile/SCRUM environments
