What you'll do

  • Lead the evolution of Procore's Design System with a focus on craft, quality, and scalability across web and mobile
  • Establish reusable patterns, components, and guidelines for consistent AI feature integration
  • Partner with product, engineering, and design teams to build, ship, and drive adoption of components
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in the Design System and address them proactively
  • Facilitate contribution and change management processes for the Design System
  • Help bridge mobile and web experiences across platforms
  • Mentor peers in design tools and strategic thinking
  • Integrate research and user insights into the design process

  • 5+ years of experience designing apps with a strong portfolio of design work
  • 2+ years of experience in Design Systems
  • Hands-on experience using AI design tools such as Figma AI, Claude, Cursor, or LLM-assisted prototyping
  • Point of view on scaling AI design tool use responsibly within a design organization
  • Strong aptitude for performing and synthesizing research, including contextual inquiry
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven track record presenting designs and articulating design decisions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Extreme ownership, bias to action, and ability to succeed in ambiguity
