- Own the design system domain: components, tokens, patterns and documentation, keeping it consistent and high-quality as team and product grow
- Embed in a product team and design end-to-end features across the web platform, mobile app, internal tools and dashboards, from user flows and wireframes to high-fidelity UI and prototypes
- Restructure tokens, components and documentation so AI agents can read and use them, enabling prototypes that map one-to-one to the code
- Partner closely with engineering to keep the design system and codebase in sync, aligning naming, tokens and component APIs
- Define and champion standards, review component usage across flows and help other designers move faster within a shared system
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers and stakeholders from discovery through delivery
- Support different design needs across the lean team, including projects outside the main scope
What they're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI or digital design (agency or in-house), with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role
- Deep, demonstrable expertise in design systems: built, scaled and governed a design system, not just consumed one
- Strong command of component architecture, design tokens, theming/modes and documentation, with a systematic approach to naming and structure
- Advanced Figma skills including variables, modes, component properties and auto-layout
- Solid understanding of how design systems map to front-end code and comfort collaborating closely with engineers to keep design and code 1:1; curiosity about AI/agent-assisted design workflows is a strong plus
- Proven ability to design end-to-end product experiences across web, mobile apps, internal tools and dashboards
- Excellent craft in interaction and visual design
- A proactive, highly organized way of working with autonomy alongside PMs and engineers
- Strong communication skills for presenting work, explaining rationale and inviting feedback
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments, iterating quickly based on feedback and data
- Experience in fintech or B2B SaaS is nice-to-have
