What you'll do
- Lead the creation, documentation, and evolution of design systems
- Define and maintain UI components, patterns, and guidelines for consistency and scalability
- Collaborate with developers to support implementation of the design system
- Audit and improve existing design systems by identifying gaps and opportunities
- Advocate for design system adoption and best practices
- Create and maintain structured, usable, and up-to-date Figma libraries
- Balance system thinking with product needs while maintaining consistency

- 3+ years of experience in digital product design with a strong focus on design systems
- Proven experience creating or maintaining design systems in real-world products
- Deep understanding of UI design, components, tokens, and scalable systems
- Strong proficiency in Figma, including libraries, variables, and auto layout
- Experience collaborating with developers and understanding front-end constraints
- HTML/CSS basics are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and focus on consistency and quality
- Clear Spanish communication skills and ability to document and explain system decisions
