NewSenior Digital Designer, Design Systems
Apply on NikeNike is looking for a Senior Digital Designer for the Podium Design System team to co-create a design system that translates Nike’s brand into reusable UI across Nike’s portfolio of digital products. The role focuses on designing and developing highly flexible reusable UI, accelerating teams' abilities to create elevated brand experiences, and treating the design system as an evolving product. The Senior Digital Designer will work side by side with two Lead Designers and a Lead Engineer, collaborate horizontally across Nike Digital Product Design, and report to the Senior Design Manager of the Podium Team.

- Co-create and deliver Podium Design System components, tokens, guidance, AI tooling and integrations into product domains
- Work on large-scope initiatives that require strategic thinking and systems craftsmanship
- Design visual comps, wireframes, flows and prototypes that represent the Nike brand and product experience
- Own multiple product features for medium to large projects
- Take proactive ownership at edges of projects where requirements and design objectives can be ambiguous
- Rapidly iterate and refine design concepts from initial briefing through final delivery
- Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams of producers, product managers, design operations, engineers, researchers and fellow designers
- Develop design solutions using participatory and iterative techniques including user interviews, observation, usability testing, validation, and brainstorms and workshops

- 6+ years of relevant experience with end-to-end digital product design with proven experience in visual and UX
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in design or related field (UX/UI design, human-computer interaction, etc.) — will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- Strong understanding of product thinking, interaction design and execution
- Ability to deliver high-quality, end-to-end design solutions that uphold Nike's quality standards
- Hands-on creative and systems thinker with strong UX/UI/IA design expertise
- Demonstrated user-centric design approach and insights-based design process
- Strong collaborator with product managers, engineers, writers, researchers and marketers
- Solid design process and strong attention to detail
