Engineering Manager, Design System
Apply on NetflixNetflix is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for Hawkins Professional, an enterprise design system supporting over 700 apps, 1,600 engineers, and 60 designers daily. The team is part of the broader JS Platform organization and supports UI browser application teams across Netflix. What you'll do

- Communicate organizational and business context to help the team deliver their work
- Partner with the Design Manager to define operational models, roles, project ownership, and expectations
- Collaborate on the vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for the design system
- Lead the team in defining and executing the technical vision for the design system
- Build partnerships across engineering, design, and product teams to understand challenges and deliver scalable solutions

- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with design partners on a shared design system vision
- Experience working within international, distributed, cross-functional teams
