UX Engineer

What you'll do
- Build and ship high-quality UI in Matic’s mobile app
- Translate Figma designs and prototypes into production-ready components
- Implement smooth animations and micro-interactions
- Help visualize robot behaviors such as mapping, obstacle detection, and cleaning states
- Collaborate with product design to refine interaction details
- Partner with design, software, algorithms, and hardware teams to ensure accurate real-time feedback
- Contribute to and help evolve a scalable design system in code
- Participate in feature planning and iteration discussions

- 1–4+ years of experience in front-end or mobile development
- Experience building product-facing UI, with mobile preferred
- Familiarity with Rust and/or Python, iOS and/or Android
- Strong attention to detail in spacing, hierarchy, motion, and interaction

- Curiosity about connected devices and how software interfaces with hardware
- Clear communication skills and willingness to give and receive feedback
