The role is based in Barcelona and will involve regular travel between the company's key locations. The Senior System Design Engineer will work alongside physicists and developers and act as a lead designer for Lace’s first industrialized tool.
What you'll do
- Define requirements of the tool’s subsystems and modules
- Define the system interfaces and integration strategy
- Ensure the system meets engineering and compliance standards (SEMI S2)
- Act as a bridge between departments
- Lead discussions with external/outsourced partners
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation
- Lead technical projects for system development, including project scope, timelines, technical risks, progress reports, and cross-functional execution
