NewDesign System Designer
Apply on Kuoni TumlareYou will help product designers and product owners ship new features for internal tooling and global travel platforms as part of the Design System Team. The role involves designing, building, theming and documenting visual assets, components and UI patterns and maintaining internal Storybook documentation with Git. The position is full-time in Prague with at least two days a week together in the office, and the team works in English.
What you'll do
- Design, build, theme and document visual assets, components and UI patterns used by designers and product owners
- Maintain the design system
- Design, document, and maintain reusable components in Figma and Storybook (code)
- Ensure components meet WCAG accessibility standards
- Keep the component library organized and easy to navigate for all designers and developers
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design-to-code parity
- Partner with stream designers to understand pain points and prioritize system improvements
- Validate component usability through testing with designers and end users

- 5+ years of UX / Product Design experience
- 3+ years on Design Systems
- A portfolio showcasing capabilities in UX / Product Design, with a focus on Design Systems work
- Proven experience in building and maintaining design systems, collaborating with both designers and developers working in agile teams
- Demonstrated ability to create components and tools that others can easily use in their own workflow
- Deep Figma skills including auto layout, grids, tokens, variables, components and props, slots, library management
- Strong command of accessibility principles (WCAG 2.2)
- Enough technical grounding to read and understand HTML, CSS, React
