NewUX Designer - Design System (Freelance possible)
Apply on EngiFlexAs an experienced UX Designer you will design user-friendly interfaces and continuously improve the user experience of applications and websites. You will maintain and further develop the design system, run and plan user research, design low- and high-fidelity mobile-first interfaces using tools like Figma/Sketch/Mockplus (or similar), ensure accessibility including WCAG 2.1, and communicate regularly with stakeholders and the team. What you'll do
- Design user-friendly interfaces and continuously improve the UX of applications and websites
- Maintain and further develop the design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility and currency of components, patterns and guidelines
- Support teams in correct use of the design system
- Participate in needs analysis and study users and their context to define functional and UX requirements
- Determine and plan appropriate research methods and help recruit participants for interviews, surveys, focus groups and usability tests
- Develop solution proposals and design low- and high-fidelity interfaces following a mobile-first approach
- Use design tools (Figma, Sketch, Mockplus or similar) and prototyping to make concepts tangible
- Support analysts and developers in elaborating user interfaces and ensure the implemented application matches user needs and context
