- Own the design-token pipeline, keeping Figma as single source of truth and delivering tokens to consumable CSS/SCSS variables and a component library
- Manage primitive → semantic → component token layers, naming conventions, and resolve gaps and conflicts
- Build and maintain the component library, verify components against design specifications, fix fidelity issues, and manage variants and APIs
- Operate design-to-code automation, programmatically extract tokens and component context from Figma, and build tooling (including AI-assisted workflows) to reduce manual work
- Maintain CI-integrated infrastructure for visual regression and accessibility (visual diffing + automated a11y checks) with baseline management and PR gating, hosted on cloud infrastructure in collaboration with DevOps and Azure teams
- Lead technical parts of component and token migrations with phased rollouts, explicit approvals, before/after evidence, and protection of backward compatibility
- Document and share architecture decisions and conventions to keep the system maintainable beyond individual contributors

- Strong TypeScript and modern frontend skills; comfortable with Angular and Web Components (e.g., Lit)
- Solid CSS/SCSS skills
- Practical experience with design tokens, including token architecture, semantic layers and tooling such as Tokens Studio, W3C DTCG or Style Dictionary (or equivalent)
- Fluency with Figma for design systems, variables/collections and component libraries, and experience using the Figma API/plugin ecosystem for programmatic extraction
- CI/CD and cloud delivery experience including pipelines, publishing packages to private feeds, and hosting build artifacts and tooling
- Experience modernizing legacy frontends without breaking existing consumers
- Curiosity and passion for AI-assisted design and engineering workflows
