- Decide what DRUIDS owns, what it ships, and what stays with product teams; own the system's direction and roadmap
- Coach designers and design engineers, clarify ownership, and hire as the team grows
- Own the craft and quality of components, patterns, and principles and decide what is good enough for DRUIDS
- Raise product quality through the system and the way design work is produced; call out when work isn't good enough
- Own the tooling and workflows that make the system usable and determine what the system ships beyond components
- Define how design quality is evaluated (by people and agents) and where that fits into software shipping workflows
- Stay close to product design, monitor what’s being built and where teams struggle, and define touchpoints, relationships and working models to support product teams
