Staff Product Designer, Design Systems
Apply on ClioClio is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join its Product Design team, with the role available to candidates across Canada excluding Quebec and in the US. The role focuses on owning the vision and evolution of Clio's design system as it enters an AI-first era. Candidates near Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto are expected to work in the office at least twice per week on designated Anchor Days.

- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define experience strategy, success metrics, and priorities
- Translate customer workflows and constraints into clear direction and experience decisions
- Lead end-to-end design across multi-surface journeys from opportunity framing to execution
- Shape a long-term experience vision through storytelling and collaborative thinking
- Raise the quality bar through cohesive, accessible, and scalable experiences
- Strengthen patterns, frameworks, and design system evolution across teams
- Help teams navigate ambiguity through facilitation and cross-functional collaboration
- Mentor and elevate other designers through critique, coaching, and role-modelling
What they're looking for
- 8+ years of Product Design experience
- Proven ability to design scalable experiences across multiple customer segments and/or products
- Experience leading complex, cross-team initiatives and delivering cohesive solutions across interconnected systems
- Track record of shipping high-quality work that solves customer problems and moves key product metrics
- Strong product judgment and business acumen
- Deep mastery of UX craft, including complex interaction design, information architecture, usability, and visual design
- Advanced customer-centric practice, including leading discovery and aligning teams around customer needs
- Proven experience designing AI-powered experiences with trust, transparency, and appropriate user control
