What you'll do
- Contribute to the growth and consistency of Bitpanda’s design system
- Design patterns, components, and tokens
- Manage design system libraries
- Create clear and accessible documentation for design system implementation and usage
- Lead design system projects in product teams from start to finish
- Align design system work with engineering and product requirements
- Support collaboration, exploration, and efficient delivery of design system solutions
- Work with designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to address accessibility, business, and user needs

- 5+ years of experience collaborating closely with product and engineering peers in a design system team, or experience with design system responsibilities collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
- Expert design systems skills including technical knowledge and strategic understanding to drive product quality and cohesion
- Generalist UX design skills with strong UI and visual abilities
- Ability to execute at high quality and speed while leading projects autonomously
- Workflow with current industry-standard tools like Figma, Miro, and JIRA
- Experience using and contributing to design systems
- Excellent spoken and written English
