- Own the experience layer across a customer journey or product surface end-to-end for web and native app
- Design and build experiences that solve real problems, are intuitive under stress, simple when decisions are complex, and delightful when appropriate
- Define excellence by setting the bar for quality, delight, and product excellence and teaching the team what great looks and feels like
- Stay deeply connected to users by talking to customers, planning and executing research, and creating fast feedback loops through user testing and communities
- Contribute to and evolve Babylist's design system by building reusable components, defining interaction patterns, and ensuring consistency across web and native mobile
- Operate with agency by biasing toward action and creating conditions for success without waiting for permission
- Build with AI-native workflows for research synthesis, rapid prototyping, production code, design system evolution, and interaction exploration, then share and teach what's working
- Write production frontend code to implement, refine, and polish designs, owning transitions, micro-interactions, loading states, empty states, error states, and keyboard behavior

- Feedback fan who builds feedback loops, puts prototypes in front of users early, and solicits critique
- AI-native and a real builder who moves from concept to interactive prototype in hours and writes production frontend code yourself with a portfolio demonstrating this
