- Build and evolve the component library, interaction patterns, and design tokens as production frontend infrastructure across web and mobile
- Drive migrations and adoption of the design system into the product, land breaking changes, deprecate old patterns, and do the human work of getting the team to build on it
- Own frontend performance, including bundle size, render performance, and accessibility, and provide tooling and guardrails to prevent regressions
- Write codemods, migration scripts, and agent workflows to accelerate team adoption of the system without sacrificing quality

- Deep frontend engineering skills with clean, performant TypeScript and React and a solid grasp of data structures, async programming, and modern build and tooling workflows
- Experience owning a design system or shared component library in production and knowledge of versioning, breaking changes, migrations at scale, and convincing engineers to adopt it
- Ability to treat frontend performance and accessibility as engineering problems, including profiling slow renders and reducing bundle size and putting guardrails in place
- Experience using coding agents as part of development workflows, particularly for migrations and adoption
- Strong design instincts to notice when a UI feels off and maintain a high bar
- Curiosity about and empathy for the domain Ambrook operates in
- A past body of work (shipped systems, tooling, open source, or a portfolio) that clearly demonstrates engineering skills and craft
